Department of Musicology and Fine Arts aims to be a beacon of innovation among other fine arts departments in the Palestinian universities. The department also aims at providing the highest quality education in ceramics and painting programmes and supplying governmental and private institutions with qualified graduates who will be preserving the heritage of the Palestinian fine arts and affecting the culture of visual and fine arts at the Palestinian community.

The department aspires to enhance the quality of music education and fine and visual arts education and promote scientific research, creativity and excellence among students and employees to adequately match the labour market’s needs and produce competent graduates who will be able to teach in educational institutions and spread awareness through creative-optical sights.
Department of Fine Arts contains Four Acadimic Programmes:

- Muhammad Sawalha - Music Supervisor in the Directorate of Education / Nablus Branch, and Music Activity Supervisor
- Iman Al-Ahmad - Head of the Music Activity Department at the Ministry of Higher Education
- Raafat Al-Asaad - Abdul Mohsen Qattan Foundation, visual artist
- Abdullah Abu Al-Saud - a visual artist who has exhibitions in Ramallah and abroad
- Tayseer Haddad - Music Officer at the Ministry of Education, Arabic Section / 1984 lands.
