The faculty of fine art (FFA) has a strategic plan to hosts workshops to serve the faculty’s students and community in the field of culture and fine art.

A culture and art workshop held by the Ministry of Culture was hosted at the FFA in collaboration with the UNESCO. The workshop aimed to reactivate the artistic culture of the supervisors of the cultural centres in the provinces of the north of West Bank.

 

About 20 supervisors working in these cultural centres participated in this five days workshop as well as to a number of FFA’s students. The participants received theoretical and practical lectures on modern methods in the reactivation of cultural experience and project management which aim to serve the local community in these centres.

The workshop was led and supervised by the artist Fathi Abdel-Rahman. At the end of the workshop the trainees received workshop diplomas from Mr. Yousef Altartoury, the general director of the heritage department and from the FFA’s dean Dr. Hasan nairat as well as from Miss Maye odeh, the representative of UNESCO.
