The Faculty of Fine Arts at An-Najah National University hosted, via Zoom, Dr. Israa Saleem Ferdous, Head of the Interior Design Department at the College of Architecture and Design at Prince Sultan University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Israa is a distinguished specialist in environmental engineering, sustainable design, sustainable architecture, interior design, and environmental studies.
During the session, a selection of student projects from the Interior Design 4 course was presented. Dr. Israa provided insightful feedback, emphasizing the importance of developing strong design concepts and finding creative solutions to the challenges that may arise within interior plans.
The session was organized by Dr. Mervat Ayyash, with the aim of enhancing academic exchange for students and enabling them to benefit from the expertise of faculty members at renowned institutions such as Prince Sultan University in Riyadh.
At the conclusion of the workshop, both sides agreed on the importance of holding additional sessions in the future, with dates to be announced later.
