
The Faculty of Fine Arts at An-Najah National University organized an online academic meeting on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, bringing together students from the Painting and Drawing Program with academics from the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig.
The meeting connected students enrolled in the Graduation Project Research course with Dr. Benjamin, from the Theory Department, and Dr. Ivana de Vivanco, from the Painting Department at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. During the session, students presented their project ideas, which were reviewed by the guest academics, who offered constructive critical feedback that contributed to broadening students’ artistic and intellectual perspectives.
The discussion also addressed the role of artificial intelligence in visual arts, with a focus on its potential applications in artistic research and contemporary artistic practice.
The meeting was coordinated by Ms. Lina Harb, Head of the Department of Music and Visual Arts, in cooperation with Mr. Abdelilah, course instructor, and Mr. Ahmed Abualrob, faculty member, and was organized in collaboration with the International Relations Office at An-Najah National University. This initiative reflects the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to expand international academic partnerships and enrich students’ creative and academic development through global engagement.
