
Students of the Faculty of Fine Arts – Art Therapy specialization at An-Najah National University participated in the university-wide student event “Psychological Resilience Arena,” organized by the University through the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Faculty of Educational Sciences, in cooperation with UNESCO, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and the Palestinian Counseling Center. The event was held as part of the Psychosocial Support Project within the initiative “Our Palestine… We Integrate Through Our Diversity.”
The participation of Art Therapy students was marked by their active contribution to interactive activities that relied on expressive arts as a tool for psychological support and resilience-building. The students delivered creative and group-based activities aimed at providing safe spaces for expression, enhancing communication, and strengthening social cohesion while promoting respect for diversity among participants.
This participation highlighted the role of art therapy in supporting mental health and demonstrated the contribution of Fine Arts students to community-based and humanitarian initiatives that serve the university community. It also reflects the University’s commitment to employing art as an effective means of reinforcing collective identity and the spirit of resilience.
The event took place at the Indoor Sports Hall – Department of Physical Education – New Campus on Tuesday, 23/12/2025, with wide participation from students across various academic disciplines
