
On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, a training workshop entitled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence for Faculty of Fine Arts Students” was held via Zoom, with the participation of approximately 30 male and female students from various departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
The workshop was delivered by Mr. Abdul Aziz Abu Duhair, and aimed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence and its growing importance in the fields of art and design. The workshop highlighted generative AI models and their role in enhancing creative and educational processes, in addition to explaining the principles of Prompt Engineering and effective methods for crafting prompts to achieve accurate and professional results.
The workshop included practical applications demonstrating the use of artificial intelligence in supporting the educational process, through the presentation of modern tools that help simplify academic content and transform it into interactive learning formats, such as presentations and educational podcasts, thereby enhancing students’ understanding of course materials.
In addition, several practical applications were presented in the fields of graphic design, interior design, fashion design, and digital interface design. Students were introduced to ways of employing artificial intelligence to develop design concepts, create prototypes, and produce visual and marketing materials that support creative projects in line with contemporary labor market requirements.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into artistic and educational practices, given their role in enhancing students’ technical and creative skills and expanding their professional horizons.
This workshop comes as part of the Faculty of Fine Arts’ ongoing efforts to keep pace with modern technological developments and to equip students with contemporary knowledge and tools that enhance their competencies and prepare them for the job market.
