Students from the Visual Arts Technology Program in the Department of Music and Visual Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, An-Najah National University, participated in an art activity for female employees of the Bank of Palestine, organized by the Visual Arts Forum. The activity was held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Garden City Hotel in Nablus, as part of Pink October, the month dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer.
The Faculty was represented at the event by students Rahiq Ahed Abu-Sanfah, Raneem Ziad Abdul-Rahim Salah, Shaimaa Qandil, and Laith Ali Nawaf Hannani. They contributed to conducting an acrylic painting workshop on canvas, inspired by nature and flowers, in an interactive artistic atmosphere that brought together artistic creativity and a meaningful community message.
This participation highlights the importance of utilizing artistic skills in serving the community, strengthening cooperation with local institutions, and providing students with opportunities to apply their knowledge and practical experience through meaningful artistic activities.
In this context, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Hani Al-Faran, emphasized the Faculty’s commitment to supporting such artistic and community activities, which reinforce the role of art in raising awareness, encourage students to actively participate in community service, and contribute to strengthening cooperation with local institutions.
