Prof. Dr. Rami Hamdallah, President of the University An-Najah, honoured Samar Abu Hawash, Secretary of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the university; he said that honouring the “ideal employees” at the university is to enrich employee’s loyalty.
During an honouring ceremony, the president Prof. Hamdallah praised the performance of the employee Samar’s hard work. He expressed his deep thanks to all the loyal employees and appreciated their work in various locations at colleges and departments of the university.
He added that staff is the most important element for the human development and the performance in any organization. He emphasized that the family spirit and unit work promote job’s loyalty.
The head of the University of presented his thanks and appreciation to the organisers of this honour ceremony; he also thanked Dr. Ghawi Ghawi, the previous dean of the Faculty of Fine Art, and Dr. Hassan nairat, the current Dean of the Faculty.
He confirmed the desire of the university’s administration for continued support for the College which is one of the pioneering colleges at the university; he added that the college participates in protecting and preserving the Palestinian culture and history.
Dr. Ghawi Ghawi summed up his experience to work with the “ideal employee” Abu Hawash through his work as head of the Department of Fine Arts several years before the founding of the faculty and praised of her honesty, sincerity and distinction, he thanked all organisers of this ceremony, and thanked Professor Dr. Hamdallah for his endless support for the Faculty of Fine Arts.
Dr. Khalil Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty of Science spoke about his experience in working with the employee Abu Hawash; he said that honouring the ideal employee at the university is a distinguish sign that will urge other staff members to innovate and creating.
Dr Hassan Nairat said that honouring the Abu Hawash comes as part of the university’s administration fixed policy to honour distinguished employees. He added that honouring Abu Hawash is a result of her efforts in serving the Faculty of Fine Arts and An-Najah National University.
The ceremony was attended by a number of Vice-Presidents of the university, colleges’ deans, directors of administrative departments, faculty members and a big number of students.
Prof. The president of the university presented an appreciation certificate to Abu Hawash. Equally, Dr. Hassan Nairat, Dr. Ghawi, Dr. Suleiman Khalil, the faculty staff and students presented souvenirs and presents for the employee Abu Hawash.
